My Adventures in South Korea

Leaving for South Korea

As I type this blog post, my eyes are burning from tiredness. These last few days have been jam packed with the very last minute things that John and I needed to get done. I can say now with a breath of relief that everything that I can think of has been taken care of, our bags are packed, and we fly out for Seoul, South Korea, early tomorrow morning! I am attempting to pull an all-nighter tonight so my jet-lag isn’t too bad upon arrival.

Last week we spent a wonderful week in Northern Michigan. It was a very relaxing & wonderful week of visiting the rest of our family. We had a great time just taking naps, fishing, and reading at the lake. The temperature was cool and breezy! The whole time that I was in Michigan, I just had to remind myself to let myself enjoy being lazy because I probably would not get a day like that for a while! It was wonderful.

Keeping this post short so I can relax before we fly tomorrow! Its crazy to think that we will be in Korea in 24 hrs! I am ready, John is ready, and our dogs are ready (btw, if all goes well, the dogs will get into Korea with less than 24 hrs of quarantine and I can update a post of step by step instructions on bringing a dog!) ! I am going to miss my family, friends, and the United States a lot while gone but I can’t wait for this adventure ahead! The next time I update my blog will be in Korea so stay tuned! πŸ™‚

P.S. Enjoy a few pictures from our trip last week!

It’s ridiculous how much stuff there is to get done before leaving. I guess you are on your way by now. Have a safe flight! Can’t wait to hear about your first few days. Good luck!!! πŸ™‚

I agree!! πŸ™‚ Its crazy how much you need to pack! Make sure to check your airline and the bag policy. I forgot and ended up having to pay for my extra bags and extra for the weight. The flight otherwise was okay (with the exception of the dogs lol who cried a lot, but that will be in the upcoming post!) Good luck with everything as well! My husband and I are in Bungdang, on the outskirt of Seoul, and so far love it! Korea is an exciting place to be!! πŸ™‚
