A Birthday in Seoul!

Birthdays in Korea are fun! Because our schedules are on the night schedule, it leaves plenty of time to go out for dinner/drinks, and still leave time to recover for the next morning. Last week was John’s 29th birthday. When we met, he was turning 23, so I can’t believe it has been 6 years! We went out with friends for dinner, drinks, cake, and more drinks! It was a good night! If I could change anything about birthdays here though, it would be the cake. While the Korean cakes are tasty, they lack that moistness that American cakes have. I can’t complain too much about them though!
Next week we are back on the morning schedule for two more weeks, which will be hard, but then we will be done with intensives! I can’t wait for that! I am also starting a countdown to May because my family just bought tickets to come and visit! Spring is going to be welcomed with open arms here!
Hope your week is nice! Enjoy the pictures below! 🙂
Luci having a cute moment.
More snow in Seoul! It was pretty but didn’t stick and melted by the next day.
Have a nice week!

It was a great birthday. Even though the cake was a bit dry, I still loved it!
