My Family’s Visit

My family arrived on May 3rd. From the moment they arrived, till the moment they left, we were on our toes! My family was able to experience many things that I love in Korea! They were able to see the culture, taste the food, talk to the people, and just have a good time. We were also able to visit Japan! While in Japan, we went to Osaka and Kyoto. We saw many of the original places that I saw on my first trip to Japan (you can read about that here), but John and I also took a day trip to Nara. Nara is a city close to Kyoto and what is amazing about Nara are the deer there. Deer are sacred so they roam around freely in the park/temple areas! It was definitely fun to see them!
My family’s visit was a busy two weeks. It was so busy that I don’t even know how to put their visit into the right words on my blog. Instead, I’ll just share our time together in pictures! 🙂 I was so happy they were able to come visit and the moment they left, I felt the emptiness that only family can leave behind. ❤
p.s. John and I have had packed weekends since they left. All worthy blog posts that will come in due time, I promise!!!
Till next time, enjoy!

You are so fortunate to have had family (and so much family!) come to visit you while abroad! We are trying to talk my husband’s mother into a trip to see us in S. Korea with his brothers! Hopefully she will bite the bullet and do it! I love these photos! Looking forward to seeing more of your weekend adventures! Have a great week!
