My Adventures in South Korea

About

Hello & thank you for visiting my blog! My name is Tara and I have always had an urge to travel and see the world.  I am currently on an adventure with my husband, John and my two pomeranians, Milo & Luci. We are living and teaching English in Seoul, South Korea and are embracing every minute of it (culture shock and all)! 🙂

Photo 813 A little bit about me – I am a college graduate from the University of Central Florida (Go Knights!). I met my husband while at UCF and after 4 years of dating, we got married in June of 2012. After marriage, I started getting an itch for some kind of change or adventure. Who knew that the itch was a bite from the wanderlust bug! John and I knew we wanted to travel and explore the world, but nothing really pushed us to do anything until this year. My sister moved to South Korea to teach english in January of 2013 and when we starting hearing about all of her wonderful adventures, we decided that this was the time for us to travel (before anything else happened!). We started our application process and before we knew it, we were accepted! It’s hard to leave a place and country you have known your entire life, but its also exciting and liberating!

I hope this blog can document our journey with a new culture, country, cuisine, etc., and also document the challenges and adventures of taking our dogs with us!

Please feel free to drop us a line and we hope you enjoy the ride!

    Dear Tara,

My name is Joyce and I work for ExpatFinder.com.
ExpatFinder.com is a free one stop website for people preparing to move or working and living overseas. We provide a myriad of services for expatriates and we have over 2,000 articles to help and support the people moving around the world and we are now creating an interview section to help the expats with real life experiences!
We quite enjoy your blog about living in Seoul, it is very interesting and informative. Would it be possible to interview you to further share some of your tips and feature some of your first hand experience as an Expat and your interview will be published on our Expat Interview section as a guide for our expat readers. The questions are mainly about the day to day lifestyle of an expat. If it would be possible, could you also send some photographs that we can use?
Of course, if you accept, we can add a link to your blog or some of your website.
The questions are enclosed, feel free to respond freely. You can return the doc with your answers if you accept this invitation.
Thanks in advance and do let me know if you prefer other means to conduct this interview and we would be happy to accommodate your terms.

    Best regards,
    Joyce
